Machines
What does the deblistering machine do?
It automatically removes tablets from blister packs. Machine vision reads the pack format in under 5 seconds, and the self-adjusting forks set the pressure for that pack before the run starts.
What's a DAA, and how is it different from a blister pack?
A dose administration aid: the pack a pharmacy makes up so a patient takes the right tablets at the right time, usually a week at a time. Blister packs are how medication arrives from the manufacturer; DAAs are what the pharmacy makes from them. Emptying those blister packs by hand is the step our machine automates.
How fast is it?
It auto-calibrates in under 5 seconds and then runs continuously, so the setup time between formats effectively disappears. We're measuring real-world throughput during the 2026 pilot and will publish figures once we have them.
What blister formats are supported?
The calibration bay measures width, pitch, and layout the first time it sees a pack, then saves that profile and recognises the same pack on later runs. Either way there's nothing for you to select or maintain. If you run an unusual pack, send us a sample and we'll test it before your demo.
Do I need a technician to set it up?
No. The machine is designed to be set up by pharmacy staff. We include a full onboarding session with our team.
Pilot
Who is the pilot open to?
Sydney-metro pharmacies. We are onboarding five sites for 2026. One is confirmed and the remaining places are open at time of writing.
What's involved?
A site visit, a 4-week supervised trial with the Automated Deblistering Machine on your bench, and a review together at the end.
How much does the pilot cost?
No cost to join the pilot program.
How do I sign up?
Tell us about your pharmacy on the contact page, and we'll reply within 3 business days.
Pricing
How much does the machine cost?
The Automated Deblistering Machine has an MSRP of $24,995 including GST, per machine, indicative until the general release we're targeting for 2027. Ahead of that, the first production cohort of twenty-five machines can be reserved now: you pay a refundable deposit from $1,000, your machine price is locked between $14,995 and $19,995 depending on tier, and the balance isn't due until your machine is delivered. All figures are AUD and include GST. The full tier table is on the reserve page.
Do I have to pay to reserve a machine?
Yes. Reserving is paying a refundable deposit, and the deposit is what holds your place. You choose a tier, enter your pharmacy's details, read and accept the Pre-Order Terms on the page, and pay the deposit by card through Stripe's secure checkout. Your reservation number and the exact terms you accepted arrive by email as soon as the payment is in, and the balance of your machine price isn't due until delivery.
What happens to my money if the machine is late?
Your deposit is fully refundable on request until Production Lock, 60 days before your scheduled delivery. The delivery window we quote is an estimate of 6 to 9 months from your order, and if we haven't delivered by the outside date in your Pre-Order Terms, you can request a full refund of your deposit. Refund requests are processed back to your original payment method within five business days.
What does the tier change besides the price?
Which production batch your machine ships in, plus how much of the MSRP you save. Launch Partner machines go out in the first batch, Founding in the second, and Reserve machines follow in queue order. Every tier gets a numbered reservation, Insera Inventory included, and a direct line to the founders rather than a support queue.
Is there a subscription for Insera Inventory?
Not yet, but there will be one. Insera Inventory is included at no extra cost for pilot pharmacies and for the first production cohort of reserved machines. That's an introductory arrangement, not a permanent one: Inventory moves to a paid subscription as the product matures, so reserving a machine doesn't lock in free access forever. We'll tell reserved pharmacies the price and the start date well before anything is charged.
Company
Where are you based?
Sydney, NSW, Australia. We design, manufacture, and service our machines in-house.
Are you hiring?
Not yet. We're a small team and there are no positions open to apply for right now. That will change as we scale toward the general release; our Careers page lists the roles we expect to open, and you can register interest in one before it goes live. If you build things and care about healthcare, email info@inseralabs.com anyway. We'd rather hear from you before a role exists than miss you after.
How do I get in touch?
